Friday, I flew to Melbourne to gain more knowledge about the Pygmy breed. Two wonderful judges from the USA flew over to train those of us who wished to become a judge. It was a privilege to meet Carol Hepner and Kelly Culp who have such vast experience in the realm of judging this breed. I think all those who attended learnt a lot and we all came away with knowing so much more than we could have expected.
A large amount of effort went into putting this course together and the NPGAA can thank that to the effort of Paul and Carolyn Hamilton. Thank you to both.
I realised I still had much to learn but I came away with so much more knowledge of what to look for when choosing animals to increase the profile of my herd.
