Well, its been some time since I’ve had time to sit and do a post on the site.
September saw kidding in full swing. With eleven pregnant, I was expecting quite a few babies, ending up with twenty kids, eleven of those being bucklings. It was not ideal.
Mick Jager, one of my Full Blood bucks, threw me some incredible Caramels, and it was such a pity that most of them were boys, and in the end, I had to make the decision to de-sex most of them due to the demand for bucks now being at its lowest since I began breeding.
However, I have managed to gain five beautiful little does from this season who will go on to increase the % in my herd. Here are just a few.
